Care you can feel, education you can trust

Founded in 2020, Secret Heart Academy provides high-quality, education-based early learning and childcare for children from infancy through five years of age. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to build a strong foundation for future learning while supporting every area of a child’s development.

Through our education-based, whole-child curriculum, children participate in purposeful learning experiences that strengthen early literacy, numeracy, language, communication, problem-solving, creativity, and independence. Guided instruction is balanced with hands-on exploration, social interaction, outdoor play, movement, and opportunities for children to discover their own interests.

We recognize that every child develops at a different pace. Our educators take the time to understand each child’s individual strengths, abilities, personality, and learning needs, allowing activities and guidance to be adapted in meaningful and age-appropriate ways.

By combining structured learning with nurturing care, we create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident. Our goal is to help each child develop the knowledge, character, social skills, and lifelong love of learning needed for a successful transition into school and beyond.

Our Story

A second home away from home

Secret Heart Academy was founded on the belief that children learn best when they feel safe, respected, understood, and supported as individuals. Since opening our first centre in 2020, we have grown into four British Columbia communities while remaining committed to the same purpose: providing dependable care and meaningful early-learning experiences for every child.

Our centres are designed to feel warm, welcoming, and purposeful. Each classroom offers children opportunities to explore, create, communicate, build relationships, and develop confidence through thoughtfully planned experiences. Through our education-based, whole-child approach, children are supported academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and creatively.

How We Work

The warmth of home, the structure of a school

We combine the warmth and personal attention of a nurturing childcare environment with the structure and purpose of an early-learning school. Our days are thoughtfully organized around consistent routines, guided learning, creative exploration, physical activity, outdoor play, and meaningful social experiences.

Our classrooms are clean, secure, welcoming, and carefully arranged to support different ages, interests, and stages. Families remain closely connected through regular communication and daily updates about their child’s activities, learning, meals, routines, and important moments throughout the day.

Our Educators

Known and supported, every day

Our qualified early childhood educators are at the heart of every Secret Heart Academy centre. They create safe, respectful, and engaging learning environments where each child feels known, valued, and supported.

Educators take the time to understand every child’s personality, interests, strengths, routines, and developmental needs. Through patience, consistency, encouragement, and positive guidance, they build the trusting relationships children need to feel secure, participate confidently, and develop a genuine interest in learning.
